Arrival and Departure Procedures

For the breakfast club, children come directly to the D2D site and in the afternoon following the school enhancement clubs the children are collected from the school playground by D2D staff and taken to the secure Kindergarten/D2D site.

On arrival the children self-register by placing their name cards on the Velcro board and a formal register is taken.

On collection of your child please use the first gate leading to Pacific room at the back of the Kindergarten timber hut. A password system will be used to identify parents (and other authorised persons) to collect your child.

Fees for regular sessions are paid a term in advance preferably by bank transfer or standing order. We also accept cheques/cash and childcare vouchers. For standby places fees are paid in arrears every half term.
Full fees are payable for missed sessions, sickness, holidays during term time and school closures due to inclement weather.

Termination of Place

Half a term’s written notice is required to terminate your place at the D2D Club. Failure to do so could result in you being charged half a term’s fees.

Food and Drink

Breakfast of cereals/toast and drink is served at the breakfast club and a light snack and drink at the after school club. Weekly menus are displayed on the notice board. Fresh water will be freely available throughout the sessions.

Snack and meal times are an important part of the club’s session where eating represents a social time for children and adults helping children to learn about healthy eating. At the D2D club we aim to provide balanced and nutritious food in line with EYFS Welfare Requirements, Health and Safety Requirements and following the school’s healthy eating plan.

Please inform the staff of any dietary requirements or allergies your child may have.
